Dental Implants
Dental implants are now the standard of care for replacing single or teeth, or for aiding in the retention of a denture or a bridge. An implant is a titanium post that is placed into the bone where a tooth previously existed. Once placed, the implant is left alone to heal for 3-6 months, while the surrounding bone forms around the implant. Once the implant is strongly anchored into place, a crown is attached to it. The oral surgeon or periodontist places your implants, and the final restorations are completed at our office.
